If you had to found a museum, what would it be about?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 30, 2009:
Something I've never seen before, a museum of lost civilizations. Going waaaay back! Back before Noah and his Flood. Where did the Idea of a pyramid come from? What was Ezekiel's creature of wheels inside wheels inside wheels? Where was Atlantis and what was that mysterious crystal power source? Did volcano's like Krakatoa finish them off or was it a meteor? How about Lemuria, what was that about? I've always felt that this era of human beings was not the first on Earth. So who does the seeding of the Planet and why? Has the passage of Time obliterated all signs of previous tenants or was Something more powerful at work? Ok, saying we are not the first batch of cookies out of the oven, were the rest so bad that they had to be thrown away? Maybe my museum would be the Museum of WHY?

Help

Atlantis and Lemuria – I'd like to be the first one in line when you open the doors to The Museum of Why!
Like you, I don't think we're “the first batch of cookies out of the oven.” I would dearly like to know what happened to our predecessors. And I don't necessarily think they had to be chucked. That's where the big WHY comes in …
That is a fascinating thought. I think maybe they came then left! :) Saw some specials on TV about how spaceships were painted in very old, old paintings, even cave drawings.
I think we had help;)
I heard of lemurian crystal seed pods Laurie. Someday I wanted to get a trio of them, but I'm pretty careful before a purchase like that, want to make sure I'm getting the real thing. Plus the feel has to be right. Have not had the time or funds to look into it. Don't know what they are supposed to do.
“Ok, saying we are not the first batch of cookies out of the oven, were the rest so bad that they had to be thrown away?”
NOT ON MY WATCH!
I would love to know how I got here…somebody throw me a cookie!
Jeannie - I don't think there are any cookies left [Gabriel was on watch] …
and you too, Laurie.
Liza - Here is a LINK to my two Lemurian Seed Crystals. I use these tools in my healing practice every single day. Needless to say:
- They have extraordinary energy
- Conduct energy extraordinarily
if you get the Museum of Why, sandi, then I get the Museum of Because …
if you want some real mystery, check out dark matter; it makes up about 90% of our universe
and we used to think it was empty
Hi, Laurie, long day today, short day tomorrow, Fair Trade! I have no idea why I have such an interest in something that has no apparent meaning in today's world, yet there is always that little 'Why?”. When I used to read some of Edgar Cayce's recordings, years and years ago, I would run across readings from people who had Atlantean backgrounds, and even Taylor Caldwell claimed Atlantean memories. It's very puzzling, and interesting. I looked at your Crystals, they're very pretty from rock-hound's point of view but I know you have a different purpose for them. I know you recently taught a class, using stones as your subject matter. What do you use them for?
Hi, Liza, I know the cave paintings you are thinking about, or some like them at any rate. The man who wrote the book “Chariots of the Gods” had all kinds of photo's and illustrations showing hints of this and that. I have discovered that the more you find out, the more questions you have. Eventually you have to search for something with more substance, or you may as well chase clouds.
Hey there, Jeannie. Now that my Creation myths are all damaged by Science, I find myself wondering why? Every culture and religion has their Creation story, most of them charming and unprovable. So I bought the Urantia Book, one of the only books I've ever voluntarily bought and cannot for the life of me, read. It supposedly details the beginning of mankind on planet Earth, but it mostly puts me to sleep. Even picking it up makes me tired, and it goes on and on and on…..
Sure, you can have a cookie, my favorite ones, Chunky Peanut Butter, with Hershey's kisses stuck in the middle. MMMmmmmm….
Hi, Gabby, what did you do with the cookies? Those were special cookies, going to anther galactic system. You can tell me, Gabby, nothing will happen…
Barbara, it sounds like the parental unit's answer, “why?”. “Because”. I have done a little looking into dark matter, anti-matter, whatever it's called by who ever's writing the book. What happens when The Observer is watching and so on. I finally just had to accept it as so and move on to something else that didn't threaten to drive me around the bend. So I started crocheting pot-holders. No, I did think I was going to end up in a black hole myself, if I didn't find a question somewhere that had a nice, stable answer to it. Cameron, my youngest daughter, training as a chef, told me that in her psychology classes (?) they were also studing quantum theory, I was amazed and asked what she knew about quantum theory, and she just gave me that “You poor old thing” look and replied, ” Mom, how do you think I got every thing I have?” Well, I was dumbfounded to say the least, I didn't even know they studied psychology.
Sandi - you asked three really good questions over on the photo of the Lemurian Crystal page. I placed the answers there. Here is a LINK. Earlier in this discussion thread you asked:
“I looked at your Crystals, they're very pretty from rock-hound's point of view but I know you have a different purpose for them. I know you recently taught a class, using stones as your subject matter. What do you use them for?”
In a nutshell: There are four conditions to human energy: balanced, blocked, excessive, or deficient. I use the frequency of crystals to balance energy. What's needed determines the crystal(s) that I use.
Well, I must have bricks sitting on my Chakras today, or maybe it's this drizzly weather that has made me so low-key this afternoon. It's been a book and a nap day and I had access to neither. I have no problem believing that the barometric pressure affects peoples energy levels. I've been watching them all day and as the pressure fell so did the general energy level of the people around me. It affects the cattle, they don't move or feed as much either. Can't see it or really feel it, but it happens.
So, how did your class go? I was so excited to hear about your workshop experience that I neglected to ask.
I think I lost them in the dark matter of the universe.
Let me know if you happen to run across them.
Oh, don't mind those crumbs scattered around my feet.
Must have fallen from the sky.
What a BEAUTIFUL pic and fun blog. The wonders are many…at least we have each other. That's such a nice thing. Sweet dreams,
Love,
j (:
Hi Sandi
I sympathise with you on dark matter and QM and such like - it is mind bending stuff and the vast bulk of what is written is - not to put too fine a point on it - nonsense. Interesting, mental gymanstics much of it, and most of it based on the idea that light is waves - which is not what the experimental evidence suggests.
The reality of the math is mind bending enough.
There is some really mind twisting stuff when you get down below the electron level.
In respect of ancient civilisations, we can be very confident that prior to 2,000 years ago, there has never been a significant sea faring civilisation - with regular trade and exploration of the planet.
How can we be so sure? The distribution of plants and animals we see around the globe is consistent with the sort of distribution one would see from the action of plate techtonics moving continents around on the scale of hundreds of millions of years.
In the last few hundred years we have seriously mixed things up. From genetic evidence we can be certain that no such mixup has happened previously.
There may well have been ancient groups of people with technologies significantly in advance of others, and nothing like as advanced as we have today.
There are two historical events in relatively recent times (last 15,000 years) that may have survived in stories as a “global flood” - one was the flooding of the mediteranean from the atlantic as the oceans raised as the glaciers of the last ice age started to melt.
The second is related, as the med overflowed into the black sea basin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Sea_deluge_theory).
The evidence is very clear that the earth seeded itself, by the process of evolution by natural selection operating over vast time-spans (about 4 billion years). Lots of things in the process, meteors, comets, volcanoes, ice ages, continental drift, and a heap of other odds and sods leaving their mark - under it all - natural selection.
Lots of other cookies, lots of extinctions, and lots still hanging around.
It seems reasonably clear that we are the first on this planet to develop abstract language and complex technology. We might be first in this galaxy, and we might not - not much in the way of information to go on that - toss a coin.
Lotsa love
Ted
Sandi - you asked how my class went the other night (Gemstone Elixirs & Essences that I taught over at The Infinity Foundation in Highland Park, IL). It went really well - there was a great bunch of students. Here is a LINK to some photographs.
Thank you for sharing. So, speaking of cookies,
what might we expect in the future?
Hi Gabby
Which future?
The “probable, almost certain one” of economists, politicians and corporatocracy, or the one of infinitely creative individuals, caring for each each other in an empowered and unleashed fashion?
The former has some predictability about it, the latter - not much, except that it would be infinitely more interesting and secure than the former.
Love
Ted
I just love a good, hopeful fortune teller! LOL!
Now when we can incorporate the two
then we'll see heaven on earth.
But don't hold your breath.
It seems the primitive mind set rules on this planet.
I sense you are a charter member of
Ions and the Futurist Society.
I get emotional thinking of the day when
people with your mind set will prevail.
I am with you my friend.
Love
Gabby
I just opened a fortune cookie for you and it said;
“You have lots of friends and are loved by many.”
Gabby, You're just a big old, Sweetie Pie!
I am happily appreciating this motive. This is a good idea. We have forgotten all that mentioned here. This will help the revival of the humanity. Even in history as a subject, we refer only to the victories and wars only. No one cares for the cultural development. No one knows the suffering brought by all those wars.
Hey, Sanmugan, it's a pity that the history books are full of dates of wars who fought them and how bounderies changed lines. What has all that got to do with real living? It's just a tally of wholesale killing. Shameless waste of time that could be spent on real education.
