What role does spirituality play in your life?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 06, 2009:
My connection with the Creator is the very core of my being. As in "being" here in the present, in the Now and also the "Being" who lives within my skin, the Sandi, who was created for a purpose I have not yet fulfilled. I rededicate my self every morning to that purpose and ask for the strength and wisdom to reach that Goal. My job at present is to go about my work quietly and efficiently, knowing that it is the cumulative effect of many who will bring the New Age of Spiritual Purpose to fruition. I listen, I learn, I teach, this is the job before me and Spirit leads me in the paths I need to travel. When I am discouraged and frustrated in my everyday tasks, I remind myself that I am a Spiritual Being experiencing a Human Existence.

Help

Sandi - I was going to pull out my favorite parts of your post to highlight them and it turns out I'd have to copy and paste the whole thing. It's wonderful! And it's a powerful reminder that we are, indeed, Spiritual Beings on a Human Journey.
Have yourself a FANTASTIC day! Len and I head down to the Joan Borysenko presentation later this afternoon, so I'll be offline this evening.
May your purpose be a continuum into infinity.

Gabby, In my Father's house there are many mansions, I hope yours is next to mine.
Definitely about the cumulative effect. Every little bit counts….
YES! thank you Sandi, I needed to read this today & as Laurie says, a great reminder of how this gorgeous & sometimes horrendous trip of a life time is about. I might have to print it out & put it on my fridge ;-)
You are a wonderful expression of God's Love. We are very fortune to have you in this world. Of course that's why God is making you just as you are.
You're so sweet, I love you.
But you're asking for big trouble.
the cookie monster that I am
I'm glad we met on the path of human experience fellow traveler~explorer!
sometimes I think it is our discouragement and frustration that helps us connect more to our spiritual being realizing that this too shall pass
Ah that little old human experience, so laugh it off cause just because we're all a little green and stuck living in garbage can, doesn't mean we are all bad monsters , just a little educationaly grouchy that's all.
Now come here beaker we have an experiment to do. Mememememe
=}
Hi, Gil, eventually there will be a tipping point and that's why I'm here, to add my grain of Sand. Thanks for the comment.
Hey, Tara, granted, it can be a pisser and a bummer and lots of other bad things, still in the long run it's what we do with what we are given that we are responsible for. That's what we are supposed to be learning and then passing on to the next one in line. It's keeping the perspective that can be hard, you just have to be able to see past your hand. I'm glad you stopped by!
Carlton, you are just the sweetest guy in the world and I can only say “back at you, my friend!”
Lord help us! Oscar and the Cookie Monster! The mad Scientist and Beeker, too. It's the whole Street! So what's the word on the Street today, guys?
Gabby, I said you could live next to me, I did Not say I would feed you. You have to go get your own Manna like everybody else. Besides, how do you know my idea of manna is the same as yours. Mine will more than likely be fried okra.
JM, yeah, it's hard being green or blue or maybe an off-shade of red, you can do wonders with a garbage can, and if we all keep our side of the street picked up and clean, it'll be a lot nicer place to live. Glad you came by, thanks for the mememememe. Quick, grab the dog!
Sandi…I loved your answer to the question and that you're adding your grain of Sand (but does that mean I'm adding my grain of Hel?)lol Seriously beautiful!
Jeannie, I'm very glad to have you as fellow traveler, so far it's been a long, strange trip but look how far we've come and how much we have learned! Remember, it's your pals that make a long journey so pleasant and fun.
Hey there, Helen! It's so good to see your face! Well, as far as adding your grain of Hel, I guess we all do what we can. LOL! Keeps things lively at any rate. Thanks for stopping by with your nice comment.
Manamana (Mahna Mahna) -Sesame Street
Barbara, I may be wrong about this, but it does seem that the deeper into crap you fall, the louder and more often you pray. Not many people remember to return Thanks, but let someone become seriously ill, and that prayer goes right up. I hate to seem cynical but it's true that there are no atheists in foxholes. I know, I've been in a bunch of them myself. Sometimes it's really hard to get their attention and a 2X4 is called into play. What do I know? I'm just taking my licks and learning like everybody else, and I've got the bruises to prove it. But I also have a world of personal miracles to prove it too. Thanks for your very insightful comment. I was going to say thought-provoking and then I wanted to say “provoking' instead, Heh, heh, heh, so I stayed on the right side this time. Love ya!
Hey, Nicole, it ain't easy being Mahna Mahna unless you are really, Really getting into it. Funny, sounds just like George Carlin. Thanks.
